With Natural Energy: TED-PG

Application

Everywhere temperature is changing

The previous page explained the basis of what I'm tying to realize.  Here shows some application ideas of TED-PG.  If you find other applications which you think are applicable, please e-mail the ideas to me.  I may introduce them here on this website with your name.

Summer-and-Winter PG (SWPG)

Every time I saw snow in winter, I wish there was a way to decrease next summer's hot temperature with it.  Likewise, a way to increase winter's cold temperature with the previous summer's heat.  TED-PG may make it a reality.

Leave a TED-PG system in winter outside to chill it completely, reset the boundaries, and wait to see that the rising ambient temperature generates electricity with the system.  Then in the next summer, reset the boundaries again, and wait to see that decreasing temperature generates electricity again.  Repeat this cycle.

Day-and-Night PG (DNPG)

This is almost the same as Summer-and-Winter PG.  Where the difference of ambient temperature between day and night is large, e.g. in a desert, this place is perfect for TED-PG.   Reset the boundaries of a TED-PG system at midnight and it generates power as the ambient temperature rises.  Reset them again at noon and it generates electricity again as the temperature falls.  Repeat this cycle.  If the reset procedure is automatic, it's better.

The same idea can be applied to spacecrafts: their outer surface temperature drastically changes as they rotate between hot and cold areas.  Certainly, radiation also should be made use of.  Attach the system to your electric vehicle (EV) and you may go shipping without using an electric outlet.

Water Drain PG (WSPG)

We have drained hot water every day from houses, hotels, Onsen facilities, factories, plants, etc.  Don't you think it is a waste (Mottai-nai)?  Dip whole or part of a TED-PG system into the hot water and it generates power due to its expansion.  When it no longer works, take the system out, and leave or dip it into tap water or seawater, and again it generates power due to its contraction.  This can be repeated automatically or manually.

Wearable PG (WPG)

When you put cell phone in our pocket that has a TED-PG system, the phone feels heat and generate and charge the power.  When the temperature of the phone becomes the same as your body, the charging stops with a sound or a ring.  Then you take it out of your pocket to cool the phone to again generate electricity.
